Nonlinear Feedback | +++ CAUTION +++

design experimental feedback noise nonlinear sound

Study in VCV Rack after watching the modular hardware video by La Synthese Humaine on YouTube.

The patch creates nonlinear, chaotic feedback signals that often persist even when the source signal is turned off. Through most of this demonstration video only the feedback loop plays, while the source signal is turned off.

+++ CAUTION +++ | PATCH MAY PRODUCE HARSH NOISES. Turn down volume before engaging the sound or watching the video!

Setup: A saw wave is sent into a feedback loop consisting of a BP filter (Liquid Filter, Audible Instruments), Wave Multiplier (Venom) and a waveshaper (Tatami by CV funk). Resulting feedback signals exhibit chaotic behavior.

Main controls are accessed through PatchMaster (MindMeld).

I just watched that video earlier, nice application. 🔊
