Magnetic echoes fracture into drifting glass-like fragments, with deep sub-octave color beneath a moving, resonant surface.
Nightglass combines a three-tap POLY delay with granular processing, slowly sweeping filtration and diffusion inside the feedback loop. Random changes in grain size keep the texture evolving, while different left and right delay modulation adds movement. A generous wet blend brings the landscape forward.
PLAYING
Try sparse notes, harmonics and slow chords. Leave space for the fragments to accumulate, or use an expression pedal to swell into the delay.
HOLD
Press and hold the active preset footswitch to extend grain repetition, increase regeneration and deepen the smeared texture. Release to return gradually over approximately two seconds. Hold is momentary, rather than a latched freeze.
EXPRESSION
Controls overall input volume. Fully toe-down gives full input level; heel-down fades the input while existing echoes can continue.
Created from a blank preset, drawing inspiration from the LVX factory collection’s tape, granular, resonant and sub-octave textures. No external files or impulse responses required.
An independently created preset for Meris LVX.
