I’m learning a new way of thinking about creating rhythms, or gate sequences in general, in a modular synth. This patch demos a sample-and-hold circular buffer of gate signals with mutation in the feedback loop. There are an endless number of ways to use this idea to discover fun rhythmic patterns.
