A modified version of Critter & Guitari’s 201 Pocket Piano’s mother.pd for desktop development of instrument modes with elements of Owen Osborn’s desktop mother for the Organelle.
The main intention behind this was to allow desktop development of instrument modes without the need of file transfers to the hardware.
Written & tested on macOS 13.6.1/arm64. Externals for all major platforms are included. Linux users might need to compile mknobs from the moonlib library, which can be found here: https://github.com/MetaluNet/moonlib – However, it may be easier to just use the mother-in-law-alternate.pd that uses pd-vanilla sliders instead of the knobs.
Use your computer keyboard or a MIDI keyboard to play musical notes as you would on your 201. Only QWERTZ and QWERTY keyboard layouts are supported. In case you have a different keyboard switch it to either one of the 2 supported layouts or adapt it to your needs in the key-setup sub-patch.
Low C = ‘A’ key
C# = ‘W’ key
etc.
A basic module template is included as well.
