Patch for monitoring incoming and outgoing MIDI notes, CC messages, transport commands, and clock. Intended to help with debugging any issues with your MIDI connections.

Input Monitor Page:
Displays incoming Note messages: note number, velocity, and channel.
Displays incoming Control Change messages: value, controller number, and channel.

‘CLK’ (clock) graphic will flash with incoming MIDI clock. Flashes on the quarter note (every 24 ticks).

The ‘trnsp’ box displays the following incoming Transport messages: ‘Start’, ‘Stop’, and ‘Cont’ (Continue). 2.5 seconds after receiving the message, the box will display ‘ – – – ‘.

There is a timer at the bottom of the screen which displays time since last MIDI event (excluding Clock). Timer will stop after two minutes and display ‘MIDI waiting…’ until a new MIDI event is received.

Output Monitor Page:
Displays outgoing Note messages: note number, velocity, and channel.
Displays outgoing Control Change messages: value, controller number, and channel.
Notes and CCs are controlled by Organelle’s keys and knobs. Output channel is set by the Organelle’s global MIDI settings menu.

MIDI Clock is sent out at 120BPM. The ‘CLK’ graphic flashes on the quarter note (every 24 ticks).

Aux button toggles between sending ‘Start’ and ‘Stop’ messages. These are displayed at the bottom of the screen.
