This script as inspired by the new Eventide “Misha” hardware MIDI Controller.

The hardware device features 9 buttons:
-4 -3 -2 -1 0 1 2 3 4

Pushing these buttons plays a note up/down -4 to +4 steps in the selected scale.

This script has 16 Pads and 1-8 are labeled

9-16 have labed function:
Root = useful for a root drone
4th
5th
6th
Repeat (the same as the Misha’s 0 button)
Rest (insert a rest into a sequencer slot)
Play (Plays the default or last recorded sequence)
Record (Starts/Stops recording for the Step Sequencer)
