A great looking patch, I have opened it up, to listen to its immenseness, ….. and then I get the following annoying message on the attachment. Maybe I didn’t follow the instructions properly, bad boy that I am!
Any advice would be appreciated!
No no no, you’re a good boy :)
Wish I had some advice to give you. I haven’t encountered that annoying message myself, but this patch was a bit problematic for me as well. It would run fine for about 5-10 minutes but then Rack would crash and close without warning. It was using close to 90% of my CPU when looking at my task manager, so maybe it’s related to that. But still, even in the early stages, when I had just a few modules on screen, it had the same erratic behavior. Could be caused by some of these modules I’ve never tried before : “Strummer” (Nysthi), “Heat of the Moment” (Frequency Domain), “Button” (Little Utils), “Unity Mix” (QuantalAudio)… but then again, I say this without foundation, could be any modules that was recently updated that might have a bug and/or memory leak.
So not just me then! I didn’t look at the CPU usage, I got it to work for about a minute then, it popped with that message when I tried to fade Mindmeld main output. So I opened it again, three times in all, and unmuted Number 5 and then searched for the other part of the instruction, could you provide a screenshot of the second instruction, what I’m supposed to reset. That might tell me what I’m doing wrong!
My inner goodness might mean I get the Christmas presents I want! :>
Doubt the 2nd instruction will make a difference (it’s just a reset that’ll have a small impact on the noisy percussion sounds) but here’s the screenshot anyway :)
It’s just about clicking the button on top (see orange arrow) until the tiny green light next to the TGL port is turned off (see pink arrow)
If I ever figure out what’s causing this behavior, I’ll update the patch file. Tks!
Ok mate, hope you have a good Christmas! If the patch doesn’t get sorted, is it possible to have some audio so I could use it as a sample. A bit cheeky, but that’s my evil twin talking!
You never get nought if you don’t ask!
Thank you very much, I will have a listen to the full video and see if any part of the presented track stands out! I know it’s all good anyway! Very kind of you!
Hello again, all ok in your corner of the world?
I’ve been thinking, [unusual for me], please could I have the full video mix, I can then decide at my leisure which bit/sections I like the most. Is there anything I can do for you in the VCV Rack realm, it is Christmas!?
Being in a smaller-populated area in eastern Canada, we’re still getting a handful of cases on a daily basis, but that’s nothing compared to what’s going on in the bigger provinces. So yeah, not a return to normalcy yet, but we’re in a good place at the moment. Stay safe & merry xmas!

Sure, you wanted the full mix (like in the YouTube clip I posted) or was there a particular track in the mixer you’d like to have isolated?

Here it is in WAV format : https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/15URE3YZL8FD0XxcOdwFw6I-ZSrFNV2Bd
Feel free to use, alter and deconstruct as you see fit :)
No worries about that, just enjoy the holidays!
Thank you so much, enjoy the Christmas break, is Covid still rampant where you are? Stay safe and healthy.
