Insert Mode Program. Series Routing (default). It’s just not the same in the Parallel routing option. Program MIX 45% (CC#11). Shimmer into Crystals, with stereo use in mind.
Base Program: Subtle reverb bloom, trailing down in pitch by a few reversed delays. Individual [A & B] HotKnob controls over pitch shift pairs, per effect. Expression increases delay times, shifts reverb pitch, and cross-mixes reverb length with delay regenerations. Alternate HotSwitches for longer delay + decay options, plus active pitch changes.
* EXP1 increases Shimmer Pitch Decay & Delay with Crystals Rev Delay A & B.
* EXP2 crossfades Shimmer Decay with Crystals Verb Mix + Feedback A & B.
* Unintentional Effect: EXP 1 + EXP2 at full Toe smooths out the pitched crescendo tension.
* Both expression pedals are saved at the full Heel position.
HotKnob mappings, for fine-tuning the ranges of effects:
* [P] HotKnob (+/-) adjust Shimmer Size with Crystals Verb Decay [default = 25 OR CC#1]
* [A] HotKnob (+/-) adjust Pitch A & B in Shimmer [default = 78 OR CC#12].
* [B] HotKnob (+/-) adjust Pitch A & B in Crystals [default = 22 OR CC#13].
* MIDI CC# 1 [P] HotKnob
* MIDI CC# 2 H910 H949 Type
* MIDI CC# 7 [P] Program Out Gain
* MIDI CC# 8 Shimmer Mix
* MIDI CC#10 Crystals Pitch Mix
* MIDI CC#11 [P] Program Mix
* MIDI CC#12 [A] HotKnob
* MIDI CC#13 [B] HotKnob
* MIDI CC#40 Crystals Mix [default = 90 for Shimmer ‘leakage’]
* MIDI CC#74 Shimmer Low & High Decay [tilt]
* MIDI CC#75 Shimmer Mid Decay
Other options:
* TAP: 120 BPM
* momentary FLEX shifts Crystals reverse delays up 1 octave [plus Shimmer when in Series].
* HS2 (momentary or latching) – freeze Shimmer – panning clusters of 4ths & 5ths – long decay time.
* EXP1 & EXP2 usage will partially override HS2, for additional effect combinations.
* HS3 – freeze Shimmer – unison delays – panned & detuned – medium-length decay time.
* EXP1 & EXP2 usage will partially override HS3, for additional effect combinations.
* Cycle HS2 or HS3 to restore any parameters changed by EXP1 or EXP2 use.
See the Program Notes for more information on the PERFORM switch mappings.
