This is a modified version of my Launchpad Drum Sequencer script (v1.22). The functionality is almost identical, but in this version the velocity of each individual step can now be set to any value, rather than be limited to a normal velocity and an accent velocity per channel.
Changelog: v1.02
Bug fix: Error in Launchpad Programmer Mode sysex command – 4th value should be 0x0C, not 0x0D (0x0D is for the LP Mini Mk3). May have prevented the Launchpad switching to Programmer Mode. LPX was not available for testing
The functions of the velocity knobs for channels A to D, have changed as follows:
– Any steps added while in normal mode will be set at the value of the corresponding channel knob
– Pressing button E on the Launchpad (coloured Violet) enters Velocity Edit mode. Press a step on the Launchpad (can be an existing step or a blank step) and dial in the required velocity using the velocity knob (the knob will be labelled with the step number and velocity value). The brightness of the step on the Launchpad indicates the velocity value: 0 = led off, 1-50 = low brightness, 51-100 = medium brightness, 101-127 = full brightness
Set up and routing is the same as for the previous version. Instructions are included in the script description.
