8-Channel version of my Launchpad Mini Mk3 script. Setup and routing is identical, but there are some changes in functionality:
– Press the ‘SHIFT’ button to toggle between knobs layout and pads layout
– Each row on the Launchpad is 1 channel comprising 8 steps. Therefore, a 16-step bar is spread over 2 grids. During playback, the bar button for the current bar changes colour to signify which part of the bar is active – blue for steps 1-8, orange for 9-16. When the transport is stopped, pressing the highlighted bar button multiple times will toggle between the 2 grids
– 4 bars (64 steps) can be programmed, represented by buttons 1-4 on the Launchpad top row
– Buttons 5, 6, 7, 8 are Accent, Retrigger, Auto Advance on/off and Play/Stop, respectively
– The right-hand column of buttons (A to H) mute each channel
– The number of QuickMap pads in the GUI has been increased to 8, and a pad has been added to show the current preset knob positions in the Log window to aid with customising the QuickMap pads
– Swing and Humanize have been moved from the X-Y pad to the knobs layout
– Hold function added to ‘hold’ the grid on the 8 steps currently playing. During playback (and with auto advance turned off), hold the bar button for the current bar – the 8 steps displayed will be repeated to help with step editing. Release the bar button to resume normal playback
– Pattern chaining has been removed

NOTE: Filter the destination audio unit to channel 12 in AUM as with the other versions of the script
