In this patch, I’ve created an effect that takes the signal from the granular module and passes it through a delay line and onset detector. To control the density and texture of the granular sound, I used two separate LFOs.
On the onset detector side, I added a CV filter before an LFO to shape the waveform and a Value module for adjusting the depth of parameters. Then, send them into a Multiplier to modulate the grain size on the granular sound. However, I noticed that the CV output was going from 0 to 1, and I wanted it to go in the opposite direction. So I added a CV inverter to invert the signal.
One of the fun features of this patch is the ability to freeze the granular sound. You can hear how it sounds in the video.
