This is sequencer rack / project designed specifically to trigger and sequence the Klevgrand apps Ting, Slammer or Skaka. (Though it can be used with any drums or percussive midi sources). Plug and play, you can immediately get to finger drumming and recording your sequence to the main timeline.
However, Klev Sequencer has several unique trigger modes to take your sequences further.
1) Track – at it’s most basic, for straight sequencing from Drambo’s timeline.
2) Retrig – Drambo’s timeline sent to a retrigger module for accented flams and ratcheting.
3) Stochastic – a stochastic burst of note on events, shaped with an ASR envelope, with the envelope also controlling velocity level. Introduce controlled randomness which plays in time with the main sequence.
These trigger modes can be manually switched, or automated on the fly.
In addition to the trigger modes there are two additional sequence modes:
1) Mode – Allows ‘track’, ‘retrig’ or ‘stochastic’ trigger modes to pass to the midi output.
2) Seq – Allows a finger drawn step and velocity sequence to pass to the midi output.
3) Euclidian – Allows a euclidian sequence to pass to the midi output.
Like the trigger modes, the output modes can be switched on the fly. Manual or p-locked switching of the output is a great way to blend sequences, add variation or fills.
Fantastic job on this one, wow!
Thank you! Well done :)
