Janne’s Loopy Pro live rig for guitar & vocals

Here is my current rig for troubadour & duo endeavors. It takes acoustic and electric guitar and a vocal mic, it can do everything I need to be done and it is ultra-portable.
All is managed within Loopy Pro. One channel for guitar and one for vocals with respective AUv3 plugins. I have a VL3 type looper with one rhythm track and verse and chorus tracks. Rhythm track sets the length of the others (one cycle or multiple cycles) and can play with either of the other two. Verse and chorus tracks are mutually exclusive and if I trigger chorus while the verse is still playing, it will wait until the verse cycle comes to an end before switching. There is also a rec/play toggle which controls the playback/overdub behavior of the foot switches.
I use iRig Blueboard to control the looper in a following manner:
A – Loop verse (play, stop, overdub, clear)
B – Loop Chorus (same actions)
C – Loop Rhythm (same actions)
D – Start/Stop all, Clear all
There is a custom made passive roller expression pedal connected to Blueboard exp port. With that one I can swim in some guitar synth pads in the background.
The XSonic Airstep controls first of all my guitar stuff:
– Octaver bass affecting only the lower strings
– Guitar mute for tuning, guitar changes and breaks
– Delay & overdrive
In addition, I can scroll the Onsong app lyric screen with one switch and one switch toggles between the aforementioned rec/play modes in my looper setup.
In the LP mixer, I have two extra buses fed from the guitar channel: One has the octaver bass (Bassforge) and one has Midi Guitar 2 that feeds yet another channel with SynthMaster 2 in it. With the exp roller I can get nice synth swells on my tracks.

For the electric guitar my go-to system is the NAM Sandwich AUv3 plugin with a Fended style clean/edge-of-breakup tone complete with a nice tremolo and reverb. For the acoustic guitar I haven’t yet had the time to get it totally ready, but I’m using the same NAM Sandwich with a Neve 1073 clone as the “amp” stage and my custom made acoustic IR’s as the “cab” stage. With a good parametric EQ this seems to give really nice results that are to be tested in the future!

Love the VL3 esque I’m working to build on the VL3x concept, loved all your YouTube VL3 videos back in the day

This “Bassforge”-octaver – is it the app by shelbybark? Its announced on their website, but can’t find it on the AppStore?
