Psychedelic image glitch effect that creates kaleidoscopic visuals by stretching and repeating rows and columns of pixels. Load your own images into the images/ subfolder and watch them transform with organic, morphing distortions.
Knob 1: Vertical stretch (1-64 max row repeats)
Knob 2: Horizontal stretch (1-64 max column repeats)
Knob 3: Glitch density (0% = clean, 100% = chaotic)
Knob 4: Image selection (cycles through images in folder)
Knob 5: Resolution (0 = full HD, 1 = chunky pixels)
Tips:
Rotation is also kind of playback speed control. At 0, it puts EYESY through its paces, and can do less the 1fps. Much faster as you decrease the resolution.
Low density with high stretch creates smooth, elongated distortions
High density creates more fragmented, glitchy patterns
Add your own images to modes/S-Image-Trip/images/ (supports JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP)

I wrote up a blog post on development for this module and some of the technical hurdles encountered along the way. Check it out here: https://signalfunctionset.com/image-trip

thats wounderful. thank you so much, an absolutle work of art. have to try with my own pix
Thanks @endai!
Got my hands on an Eyesy, definitely going to try this patch! Looks great indeed. Is this patch also audio reactive?
Awesome, hope you enjoy it. It is not audio reactive because right now, partially because frame rates can get pretty poor at higher resolutions. I find it nice to just let its do its thing.
This is wonderful.
