Four fuzz pedals in one: multi-era sustain machine, germanium bender, octave-up fuzz, and a chaotic five-knob starve box.
Four distinct fuzz circuits under one footswitch:
– Italian Hero — the big Ï€-shaped New York sustain machine, in SIX era voicings (Delta, Ovis, Gotham, Cold War, Red Bear, Boutique) that trace the circuit’s history from creamy violin sustain to scooped wall-of-doom, each tuned against pedal-direct captures
– I Know It — a component-accurate two-transistor germanium bender, all spitty mid-’60s British snarl
– Octavius — the upper-octave fuzz that made psychedelic solos ring like broken bells
– Fuzz Zachary — the gloriously unstable five-knob science experiment: bias starve, real compression bloom, and a Gate that takes it from tight and gated to self-oscillating squeal you can play
Everything is oversampled for clean, defined high-gain without the aliasing fizz that plagues naive digital fuzz. Works standalone or in the Hex Chain suite.
