The Hetrick Phasor makes it possible to use non-linear timing within a certain amount of time. This period is defined by the Phasor: the phase of a waveshape is used as a timing reference for sequencers, lfo’s, clocks… So if you use as s-shape, you’ll still have the same period, but within start and end of a single cycle, timing doesn’t need to be linear.
I think this is unique approach, there’s many possibilities with polymeters and -rhythms as well. Definitely one of the most interesting developments in VCV.
