Here’s an expanded version of Ed Eagan’s Continuum “Harmonic Looper” preset for Osmose. This adds a melodic OSC component that comes in on Y and on full Y removes the harmonic loop background so you can play a melody against the loop creating a two preset layering effect. Kind of a specialty preset.
Macro Controllers:
i (speed) – Controls speed of the harmonic looping pattern [From Original Continuum Preset]
ii – (mod1) Controls Harmonic truncation amount (play with it to hear what it does) [From Original Continuum Preset]
iii – (timbre) – Controls timbre of the 3 OSC voices that are set an octave apart from each other coming in at different amplitudes (change max Y value for each in formulas N, P and T if you want a different amplitude mix for this)
iv – (harmIndex) – Changes Index into Harmans (will be a timbre change) [From Original Continuum Preset where it was called Truncate]
v – (bodyType) – Changes convolution index between Wood->Fiber->Metal->Snap convolutions.
vi – (chorus) – Applies a standard Osmose chorus function
Ped 1= Sustain
Ped2/Mod Slider: Speed (i)
Note: Change amplitude of the Harmonic Loop if you like by adjusting min and max values to the same value (X positive, Y Negative) in formulas I and J.
