Hard-Clip cuts off everything above 0dB nice and clean. All the clippers in Bitwig let audio through and peak over 0dB, but not this one. You use the input/drive to push the audio signal against the threshold, which is always at 0dB. But you can turn down the output signal with the output gain if you need to. Plus, if you want, you can even mix in some noise. It’s a perfect effect for making your drums and mixdowns loud. It’s based on Bit-8 and is super efficient, so you can use it on any track.
