GridPut Delayer

16 parallel delays are fed discretely through an array of 16 “windows”. The windows can be selected using the XY pad (each of the 16 boxes is a delay), or modulated through with an X and Y LFO. Window selection can be blended with an X and Y cross-fader module.

With both cross faders set to A,the windows are modulated fully by the LFOs. Set all the way to B, with the X scale and Y scales set to exactly .50 percent, the XY pad selects the delay to feed into. With cross fader at 50% and X and Y scale set at 1.00 amount, you can use both the XY pad and LFOs. Try decreasing one or both of the LFO amounts.

By default, the delays are set to varying unsynced times, with feedback modulated to 100 the CV sequencers. There are two CV sequencers labeled Feedback groups 1 and 2. The delays are divided among them. To clear the delay buffer, decrease the 2nd step all the way to zero or just hit trig. You can also set lower feedback times with the CV sequencer. To clear just one delay, scroll to the delay and decrease the CV modulation on feedback. There is a random button, to randomize the delay times. You can also reduce randomization to zero and set your own times.

For more standard looper behavior, increase CV modulation for feedback to 100, set to time sync divisions, and bring tempo waaay down to increase buffer time.

The delay input Amp controls input into the delays. Turn off to stop inputting any sound. The amp in front of each Delay controls its input volume. Turn to zero to stop adding to the delay. There is a mixer for all 16 delays at the end of the rack. When you have a full rack of repeating delays, try creating different combinations with the mixer using Morph slider/pads, with some delays turned down and on.

    Crazy stuff! Well done.
Delays are an infinite playground indeed.
