i love going out into nature with the tablet. seems like interesting ideas always pop up creating out in those spaces. at any rate this patch was inspired near golden colorado in one of the excellent open spaces.

this piece was for a class i did ages ago (done initially in the old but gold free win only veeseevst vcv plugin and ported recently into cardinal) which demonstrated the use of multiple quantum quantizers along with the awesome bernouli gate module. i recommend just turning on and off different white keys on the quantizers. and also playing with the adsr or tempo on the sequencer. or right clicking and hitting randomize on the sequencer. a lot of mileage with just those. there’s also a little noise in the mix to give it that ‘old analog’ feel and added texture (can’t get enough of that with often sterile soft synths).
