The Flipflop Sequencer sums 8 flipflops together and divides that sum by 8, creating a 0-1 DS 8 step sequence.
The knob is the current step selector. When the knob is turned, a blue light will appear, illuminating the current step.
The button under the current step selector turns the step on or off.
The DGS input on top of the button also turns the current step on or off.
The DS output at the bottom of the module is the sum of all flipflops.
The column of outputs are the values of each individual step. Step 1 is on top, Step 8 is on bottom.
To turn this into a semi-random self-oscillating sequencer, draw an output from one of the steps back into the button’s input. Apply a square LFO to the top input and a triangle or saw wave to the knob. The DS output at the bottom of the module will now have interesting variations.
