Fixed Filter Bank+

This is a processor rack insert effect for Drambo based on the Moog 907 Fixed Filter Bank with enhancements. The patch consists of 12 resonant 12dB/octave band pass filters in parallel followed by resonant 24dB/octave high pass and low pass filters. The level of each filter can be adjusted. In addition, an LFO may be used to modulate the center frequencies of the band pass filters. The band pass filters are routed to the left and right stereo bus and the panning width can be controlled. This effect is capable of producing a wide variety of tones, from simple graphic EQ curves to phaser-like sounds and much more.

LFO SPEED: This controls the speed at which the center frequency of the 12 band pass filters are modulated. At high speeds, FM tones are generated.

LFO DEPTH: This sets the amount of frequency modulation.

BPF RESONANCE: This is a global resonance control for all 12 band pass filters. At its minimum very little effect will be heard. Turned all the way up, the filter bank acts like a resonator. Try this with percussive sources.

FILTER BANK: These 12 controls set the level for each filter in the filter bank. Filters in each column are bussed to the left and right stereo bass as indicated by the labels.

STEREO WIDTH: This controls the panning of the left and right stereo bus, from mono to stereo.

HPF FREQ: This sets the frequency of the 24dB/octave high pass filter (post filter bank).

HPF RES: This sets the resonance of the high pass filter.

LPF FREQ: This sets the frequency of the 24dB/octave low pass filter (post filter bank).

LPF RES: This sets the resonance of the low pass filter.

    Well done!
Robert Arthur would have been happy 😉
