Feedback Sine Chaos

A simple experimental generative setup consisting of two Feedback Sine Chaos modules cross modulating each other. The resulting signal is fed to a resonator and to a slow delay and atmospheric reverb.

The resonator’s frequency is determined by a Phase Driven Sequencer. The input phasor for the sequencer is a random vector mix of a phasor split into a selection of quadratures. The randomised control voltages for X and Y are provided by separate noise/sample and hold outputs slightly slewed to prevent too sharp a discontinuity between steps.

A future imporvement might be to replace the LFOs gating the S&Hs with random pulses. The current patch could also provide a basis for a larger structure.

The Cardinal version at https://patchstorage.com/feedback-sine-chaos/ is more gentler and varied for some reason.
