Vestax Faderboard-inspired sampler. It uses Flexi sampler, which can sample from its input or external as usual.
The scale quantizer doesn’t quite do what the Faderboard does, but I find it interesting to experiment with nevertheless.

This is great fun. Thanks for this!.
I’ve added some Morph modules attached to lfos to move the sliders and I’ve been sitting here just listening to a beatiful drone for half an hour 👍👏
@tahiche_guillem_barrocal Nice, I’m glad you liked it! I’ve also experimented with short single note samples and it can get pretty interesting melodies by tweaking the quantizer, short percussion samples can also get rhythmically interesting results.
(I don’t know if @- notifies you of my comment)
What does this do, exactly, and how does it work?
This is really great! Thanks!!!
This works pretty nicely, though I can’t figure out how each fader triggers the notes – is there a way to loop the playback?
@krupa do you mean how I’m achieving it with the modules? I’m just connecting the output of the “many to poly” module, which combined all 10 faders into a single polyphonic signal to the gate input of the Flexi sampler. Since Flexi is poly-aware, and it’s set to “Loop” mode, it just works.
Now that I’m taking a look after a long time, I think I could simplify the volume part that comes after Flexi by using its velocity input, I’ll take a look later.
If you actually meant how to operate the patch, I can post a video later.
@krupa never mind about using velocity, Flexi only picks it up when the gate is triggered, which makes sense for all reasonable uses.
@michael_r_grant I’ll post a video later today; I hadn’t seen your comment

Hmm strange, I’ll test it again this weekend but it didn’t seem to be looping when I tried it the other day… that’s why I was exploring how it worked to see if I could automatically retrigger it…
Hmm one thing I noticed is that the patch, by default, has Flexi mode set to loop, but if you trim the recording the mode changes to 1-Shot. Could that be the issue? It doesn’t happen with other modes so it looks like a Flexi bug to me.
Ah ha! Damn, I never noticed…
v0.4 is functionally identical to v0.3, but it improves on it by removing a bunch of redundant modules, now that I have a better understanding of polyphony. It should be easier to understand.
v0.5 fixes a long-standing issue: playback wouldn’t trigger until a fader was above 0.1, because of my misunderstanding about how gate signals work. A gate is recognized as active when it goes beyond 0.1 and inactive when it reaches 0. I just added an amplified version of the signal in the middle.
