RED ALERT!! Your Eyesy is under attack by squadrons of Evil Alien Eyeballs from outer space! It’s up to you to save everything from terrifying assault! Using the knobs to control the movement of your base and shoot a laser blast upwards towards the oncoming ocular alien onslaught! Can you survive ten relentless waves of eyes?! And, if you can, will you succumb to the fury of the gigantic Angry Evil Eye who is the final boss?!?!

👁️ Knob1 shoots when dialed to the middle. Twiddle the knob back and forth to fire as fast as you can!

👁️ Knob2 moves the player base right and left.

👁️ Knob3 does nothing (or does it?)

👁️ Knob4 lets the music control the player base movement and firing if dialed to zero. Movement is controlled by the left and right audio channels while the laser is triggered by audio. Dial it up to take over the controls if your music is failing the fight!

👁️ Knob5 controls the BKG color. Dial it all the way up for random color seizure mode!

Alien eyeballs HATE music so if the music stops so does the attack. Survive ten waves without the Evil Alien Eye Squadron making it to the bottom of the screen and hit the Final Evil Alien Eye Boss twenty times and you win! But be careful because the final boss can shoot back! At the end it all starts over from the beginning. High score is kept until you switch modes.

With the generous assistance of ChatGPT this was a lot of fun to make. The audio triggers can be a little finicky about the volume levels and style of music. Find the sweet spot and the game basically plays itself when Knob4 is dialed down or you can dial it up to jump in and help your Eyesy save us from a horrible fate. Enjoy!

V1.1 UPDATE: tweaked the audio input values to be more reactive to louder amplitude (which makes the self-play mode more effective) and a minor tweak to the WAVES text position. Oh, and it also now takes 20 hits to kill the Final Boss!
