We’ve enhanced the Eyesy Chess mode to be more dynamic and expressive than ever before, inviting you to experience the game in a whole new light. Here’s what’s new:
♙ ♖ ♘ ♗ ♕ ♔ ♗ ♘ ♖ ♙
Dynamic Disco Mode on Knob3: Unleash a full spectrum of vibrant, audio-reactive colors and pulsating board movements by turning Knob3 past the 0.6 mark! Watch as your EYESY transforms into a true disco party, painting your chess game with dazzling hues that dance to your audio input. When you dial Knob3 back below 0.6, the disco fades, and the mode gracefully returns to standard operations.
Dedicated Background Control with Knob5: Your favorite background color picker is back! When you’re not in Disco Mode, Knob5 now gives you precise control over the ambient background colors, allowing you to set the perfect mood for your strategic battles.
Enhanced Piece Notation: For clear and accurate console reporting, we’ve fine-tuned the piece notation. When moves are reported in the console, you’ll see the correct Unicode symbols for both white (♟, ♞, ♝, ♜, ♛, ♚) and black (♙, ♘, ♗, ♖, ♕, ♔) chess pieces, ensuring every move is perfectly clear. Audio-Reactive Piece Movement (Knob1): Pieces subtly pulsate and rotate with your audio input, adding an organic, lively feel to the static figures. Adjust the intensity of this effect with Knob1.
Audio-Triggered Moves (Knob2/Trigger Button): Moves are made in response to your audio, with higher thresholds causing more deliberate, impactful moves. You can also trigger a move by pressing the EYESY Trigger button, or by pushing Knob2 past 0.99 for channel-specific (left/right) audio triggers.
Knight Rider Inspired Turn Indicator (Knob4): Keep track of whose turn it is with a cool, retro “Knight Rider” style LED-like display. The line’s speed is now adjustable with Knob4, letting you fine-tune the pacing of this classic visual effect.
♙ ♖ ♘ ♗ ♕ ♔ ♗ ♘ ♖ ♙
This mode isn’t just about playing chess; it’s about celebrating self-expression and adding an extra layer of joy and visual flair to every game. We hope you have a fantastic time exploring these features and bringing more color to your digital world!
