echo chamber

An audio panner with various control and effect options.
fun for creating ambient stereo soundscapes.

Overview:
left in => panning => stereo effects => optional
additional panning after the reverb (and only after the reverb) => left + right out

Both effects run in parallel if the “delay and reverb” mode is active

Controls:
The upper two rows serve as a visualiser of the stereo spread and the currently selected mode.

Left stompswitch sets the LFO rate. (tap)
lime pixel in the bottom left corner displays the current rate.

Middle stompswitch changes between 8 modes:
1. red – random pan value
2. orange – sine pan
3. yellow – triangle pan
4. green – ramp pan (left to right)
5. light blue – saw pan (right to left)
6. blue – square pan (hard left and hard right alternating)
7. purple – manual pan (uses purple button on the front page)
8. magenta – control port in (with nothing inserted defaults to hard left)

Right stompswitch changes between four effect states.
The current state is indicated by the four lime pixels in the bottom right corner.
1. dry
2. delay
3. reverb (plate reverb)
4. delay and reverb (plate reverb)

Effect controls:

Delay (four blue pixels directly below the stereo visualiser)
– Light blue pushbutton left of the pulsating light blue pixel sets the delay rate. (tap)
– The pulsating pixel serves as a visual indicator of the current delay time.
– Blue pixel = delay feedback
– Dark blue pixel = delay mix

Reverb (five yellow/orange/red-ish pixels below the delay controls)
– Yellow pixel = decay time
– Light orange = low eq
– Orange = high eq
– Red = reverb mix
– Peach = reverb pan (amount of stereo spread applied after the reverb module, default is 0.7501)

Various other controls:

lower right:
Purple = manual pan (default is 50%)
Green = output gain (default is 0.01 dB)

bottom row:
Dark blue = smoothness
decreases harsh transistions between sudden jumps, also functions as an dry/wet mix of sorts.
Pink = del-rev bal
sets the balance between delay and reverb if the “delay and reverb” effect state is selected.
White = sync
pushbutton activates the sync mode: delay rate is synced with the LFO rate, uses the tempo set by for the LFOs.
