ROW 1 SYNC (46 BPM, 1 PPQN) clocks CIRCLES and the CHRONO echo.
CIRCLES plays random-order quarter notes over 8 steps (3 rests),
D major for 8 bars, then D dorian for 8 bars.
Its slow track plays SUB every 2 bars (D2, or G2 in dorian).
ROW 2 ROOT Drift D2 drone, always on. Its 150 s slope folds its
harmonics and, at the end of each cycle, rolls the
CIRCLES dice: a new melody every 2.5 minutes.
FIFTH Drift A2, breathes in and out every 56 s (own slope ->
DYN). The same breath moves ROOT’s overtones.
ROW 3 HALO Drift E3, breathes every 88 s; its breath recolours CHIME.
CHIME Drift West-coast mallet, played by CIRCLES.
ROW 4 ECHO SEND -> CHRONO (dotted heads, wet only) -> MAIN
VOICES + SUB + echo -> SHAPE EQ -> PLATEAU -> MASTER -> AUDIO.

Cycles of 56 s, 88 s and 150 s never line up, so it never repeats.

TWEAKS
– Slower/faster: SYNC tempo (36 = very slow, 60 = livelier).
– Fewer notes: switch off more CIRCLES step buttons.
– Keep a melody you like: unplug ROOT EOC -> CIRCLES DICE.
– New melody now: press DICE on CIRCLES.
– More space: PLATEAU wet up. Drier: wet down.
– Warmer/darker: SHAPE low pass knob up.
– Master gain: AUDIO level (master), or MASTER output.
