Duophonic Synth

An exercise in building a duophonic synth just using modules from ‘NANO Modules’. The definition I use here for duophonic is merely being able to play two notes at once. However, each note commands three oscillators, a VCF + ADSR, and a VCA + ADSR. There is no shared VCF as in some definitions of duophonic. One pair of VCOs are used in FM mode and then mixed with the third oscillator. A sort of three operator FM!. But I prefer to think of it as a means of building a waveshape.

The synth has vibrato and velocity sensitivity. The FX section is handled by the FUM module which provides the delay and reverb. The CEQ module provides final EQ and compression.

I’ve found these modules are capable of providing some pretty powerful synth sounds.

Four duophonic patches are included in the zip file along with their monophonic versions.
