A simple dub influenced sequence with randomized elements. I tried to keep close to the “Less is More” principle. The sequencer is expanded to 24 step sequence with a simple 4:1 switch. The filter cutoff is modulated by a mix of an ADSR env and smooth random noise. The hats are generated by noise plethora and the cutoff is also sequenced to the main melody.
1. Play with the sequencer step triggers to introduce different rhythmic structure – bigger gaps allow for the echo to breathe. Change the sequence to your preference.
2. Adjust the VCF cutoff to your liking.
3. Play with the Noise Plethora’s algorithms to modify the hats / snares
