Insert Mode Program. Configured for Parallel Routing. In Series Routing … that will lengthen the delay cluster, with added emphasis on any time modulations. Program MIX 40-45% (via EXP1). DualVerb alongside DualVerb. Programmed for stereo use.
First came into existence as a quickie ‘throwaway’ patch. A dual mono & stereo mode comparison, in answer to a forum post. As it turns out, it’s a highly adjustable & layered reverb config. So – a couple tweaks here & there – and here we are.
The default is a very small room, adjacent to a tiled walkway. Foot control over Pre Delay & Decay creates time modulation and crossfading effects. EXP1 sweeps Pre Delay in both DualVerb instances. EXP2 is mapped to the [P] HotKnob, for Decay times of 0 ms to 50 S, plus INFINITE & FREEZE near Toe (saved at Heel).
All three HotKnobs are pre-programmed for making fine adjustments to several of the effects. Customize the sound, using these variations:
* [P] HotKnob (+/-) – adjust Decay in both DualVerb instances [default = 5]
* [A] HotKnob (+/-) – adjust Tone A & B in DualVerb1 [default = 15]
* [B] HotKnob (+/-) – adjust Tone A & B in DualVerb2 [default = 85]
* MIDI CC#8 DualVerb1 A/B Mix
* MIDI CC#12 DualVerb1 Size
* MIDI CC#13 DualVerb2 Size
* MIDI CC#40 DualVerb2 A/B Mix
* MIDI CC#71 DualVerb1-2 Resonance
Other options include selective Bypass for either (both) Dualverb instances. HS1 sets all Pre Delays to 0 mS (the room just got smaller). HS2 sets all Tone controls flat. HS3 (M) provides a nice trailing sustain / hold, with a gated reverb finish.
See the Program Notes for more information on the PERFORM switch mappings.
