Insert Mode Program. Parallel Routing [Quant = OFF]. Program MIX 50%. PolyFlex alongside Diatonic, with stereo use in mind. Two identical Programs; the sole changes being scale quantization status and the routing of Preset A & B.
The Series version is here: https://patchstorage.com/punk-barbershop-quartet/
Parallel Routing features:
* Whammy-like portamento glides, using multiple methods.
* Difficult to land on exact intervals between the extremes.
* Useful at 100% wet Program Mix to block out input notes.
* More forgiving of complex chord input, extra-scalar.
* String bends, wide vibrato & performance FX unquantized & smooth.
Base Program: Unison doubling with animated detuning. Independent & interactive glide controls. For combinations with octave up, oct + 5th, octave down, four-octave spread, and unison delay fade destinations.
* EXP1 controls Manual A Flex in PolyFlex with Diatonic Pitch A & B.
* EXP2 controls Manual Flex B, Detune & Pan A & B in PolyFlex.
* Both expression pedals are saved at the full Heel position.
HotKnob mappings, for making parameter adjustments:
* [P] HotKnob (+/-) change PolyFlex Shift A & B base intervals [default = 50]
* [A] HotKnob (+/-) adjust PolyFlex Flex & Return Time [default = 30].
* [B] HotKnob (+/-) adjust Diatonic Feedback A & B [default = 15].
* MIDI CC# 2 Diatonic Key
* MIDI CC# 3 Diatonic Scale
* MIDI CC# 4 PolyFlex Pan A & B
* MIDI CC# 8 PolyFlex Mix
* MIDI CC#12 PolyFlex Flex A
* MIDI CC#13 PolyFlex Flex B
* MIDI CC#40 Diatonic Mix
* MIDI CC#81 PolyFlex Auto Engage
Other options:
* Independent latching FLEX A or B pitch glides in two directions.
* No space left in the PolyFlex performance slots for these great alternatives:
* Flex A (M); FLEX B (M)
* Flex Dual – latching or (M)
* FREEZE – latching or (M)
* LEARN Diatonic Key
* HS1 – PolyFlex Shift & Diatonic Pitch 4-octave spread (inorganic pog).
* HS3 – unison intervals with long ping-pong delays rapidly fading out.
* EXP1 & EXP 2 override HS1 & HS3 parameters.
See the Program Notes for more information on the PERFORM switch mappings.
