Inspired by but not exactly the same as the effect of the same name in Live. Very useful little tool.
Updated 13/08/24: Gate fixed and threshold control added. Parallel Compression swapped for Transient Shaper.
Updated 15/04/24: Two EQ bumps on the input added as per the original.
Operation:
Controls
Compressor on the input
06 Comp On/Off: Left = off. Right = on haha
07 Trim: set the gain into the compressor (amount of compression)
Overdrive (All controls do what they say on the tin by ACheney)
09 Drive Gain
0A Drive Hardness
0B Drive Tone
0C Drive Tone Q
0D Drive Tone Gain
The signal is then band split and into
Crunch (which isn’t applied to the lows)
0F Crunch: amount of crunch from left low to right high
11 Transients: centre position is fairly neutral. Moving to the left a gate is applied, the further left you go with the control the shorter the gate releases. Moving from the centre to the right brings in more transients.
12 Sets the gate threshold for 11 when in gate mode.
14 Adds a bass boom, left = 0 boom, moving to the right adds boom.
15 Frequency, pitch of the added boom
16 Decay, length of the added boom
