This patch is a simple but effective sampler that uses samples of bagpipe drones to create interesting tones.

It has 2 primary functions:

It can be used simply to loop one or two drone samples, one consisting of the bagpipes bass drone, and the other consisting of two tenor drones. You can then modulate the frequencies of both drones to find sweetspots where there are novel harmonics.

The sampler can also be used in conjunction with the modulation modules. These modules show the user the current root frequency of each drone, allows them to select a desired frequency, and also specify the amount of time in seconds that the modulation will take place within. This creates a sense of movement which can be useful for the creation of risers and other effects, but can also just give movement and life to the drones when used more subtly.
