Drones Of Gliese 1316b is a space drone synth with dark and cold sound, 2 granular, and a lot of texture effects. Support MIDI keyboard keys, pitch option, also knobs and faders.
ABOUT: the synth is monophonic because is patch up for drone and space effects.
For drone use MIDI keyboard keys E2, D2 or F2. Play a constant MIDI keyboard key/note to get a sound, this option is to choose different synth global tone. Drone music is based on low and middle frequencies.
Two Melody builders and generative:
1) NoteSeq16 will create a melody/song which can be trigger with a button (ON/OFF), When melody button is off (red color) the synth switch to full generative.
2) Cosmosis is a star sequencer can be turn ON/OFF you can change on which position the bar to be running, left to right or up to down and etc of course change on bar movement will change the sound drastically you can change octave add more stars = more textures or change the speed.
3) The melody notes (NoteSeq16 ) is setup by auto and here comes Sloth module which will change notes in sequencer in result all modules will change their sound and synchronized but every module will give specific sound effect.
4) turn OFF both star and melody sequencers and the synth will switch to generative mode.
Double granular and textures effects:
1) Textures: so rich with OSCs you can adjust/change texture sound. For the textures you have FM2 VCO and which you can modulate texture sound plus you have 2 OSC for second and third texture (these textures are located on double filter)
2) Granular: will add amazing granular effects which will paint the sound in general. For the granular you have double Grain FX.
Double texture filters and LFO:
1) first one which is double you have 4 knobs for adding textures a signal coming from OSC for the textures you have 2 knobs for momentary ( per filter or in total = 4 knobs) adding/mute sound textures use AMP A and AMP B knobs,.
For LFO is take a signal from Grain FX 1
XY Pad 1 and 2
XY pad 1 is change some FM values on Stargazer and the pitch on Grain FX 1. XY pad 2 is change waveforms on XFX Wave OSC and Simone LFO Pull 1 and 2. Also XY Pad 1 and XY Pad 2 is active with both sequencers ON?OFF.
Four Waveshapers
waveshapers will change the original sound coming from VCO/OSC. Which modules are connect with waveshaper:
1)FM2 VCO
2) all textures wired to double filter (after OSC)
3) double filter input coming from Grain FX 1
4) Simone LFO
The waveshapers is amazing feature to every synth they are tiny, they have a knob with every turn is change the original waveform coming from OSC/LFO more and more which will change the sound.
Synth skins:
you have 3 synth skins in HD. The synth and skins (3) are Included in download ZIP pack. To open the skins right click on module Purfenator (synth name) module find ‘Image Background’ > Load image next go to directory folder where is the background image (Gliese 1316b 1, 2, 3) and click open.
Recommend CPU
The patch is not recommended for PCs low CPU family like single or duo core. Both Grain FX and XFX Wavetable OSC modules require a lot of CPU load. Ryzen family CPUs is recommend or Intel I5, I7 or I9 CPUs otherwise you will have a spikes in the sound.
