A simple 16 channel monophonic midi hold/latch, send it a note and it holds until you tell it otherwise.
Built to work with external mono-synths that lack sustain pedal inputs and as a workaround for the shortcomings of Keystep controllers.
V0.2 adds a basic PANIC function on the Shift button, a few bits of code tidied up and some helpful comments added

Your solution is probably much less CPU intensive.
@markd, I did try your script but it didn’t quite fit my needs but it definitely provided inspiration.
