DripDrip is an envelope follower that triggers a random sequence of droplike Sine-tones.

Every time the envelope follower surpassed a threshold it triggers a single note.
The played notes are quantized to a scale and have a randomized ADSR.

At the end of the chain is a vibrato that is faster the higher the note is to sweeten the sound.

In my case I used a contact mic on an aluminum board and triggered the notes with drops of water hitting the board.
But feel free to trigger the notes however you like.
Depending on what you trigger the note with, you may have to adjust the sensitivity of the envelope follower.
