Drum Machine Remapper!!! 😜

SHIFT – single tap: “Show help screen”
SHIFT – double-tap: “MIDI Learn mode”
SHIFT – long press: “Set out channel for selected pad.
NOTE:(Only while in MIDI Lean Mode)”

How to:

MIDI Learn

1. double-tap the SHIFT button.
2. select a pad. the pad will light up in red.
3. press on a note on your MIDI keyboard.
4. double-tap the SHIFT button once more to exit MIDI Learn.

Setting the Out Note

1. double-tap the SHIFT button.
2. select a pad. the pad will light up in red.
3. Use knob 0 to select a note number.
4. double-tap the SHIFT button once more to exit MIDI Learn.

Setting the Out Channel

1. double-tap the SHIFT button.
2. select the pad you want to change.
NOTE:(if no pad is selected ALL pads will be altered)
3. long-press the SHIFT button, and let go once the pads change green.
4. tap any of the pads to set the out MIDI Channel.

Notes on Velocity:

Velocity is simply passed through, if the pad is being triggered from a MIDI note then
the MIDINoteVelocity value is used. If, however, we trigger the note via pad then the
LastPadVelocity value is used instead. This provides us with more flexibility on how we
use this script. For example:

You can have the pads react to MIDI input, simply follow the
MIDI Learn functionality. This method uses the incoming midi notes.

You can also map your keyboard to the pads. This menas that if you have a script already
loaded and mapped to pads you won’t have to re-learn anything. This method uses the
notes mapped to the pads via the DAW mapping settings.
