Definitely, on each patch you can mute either the synth or the sample section and listen to the differences. Alter the envelopes, gently or use the provided templates… When you design your own patches and let say you want to design a snare, set the voice category to SD (SnareDrum) and use the random buttons, Drumkit will stay around the characteristics of the snare. Have a look at the voice options to set how the dice should behave. I’m sure you will have a lot of fun.
