Insert Mode Program. Configured for Series Routing. Presets are in Bypass (M) while “Active”. Program MIX 100%. Diatonic into Diatonic. Programmed for stereo use.
V2 of 3 variations on Adrian Belew’s iStomp app from a decade+ back. DigiTech’s “The Impossible Pedal [tm]” used a single footswitch to rapidly sequence between two intervals and dry input unison. This version splits two configurable pitch shifts on 2 bypass switches, for instant transposition, trills and tapping.
The difference here being that the intervals are constrained to a Key and Scale. Adjust these parameters manually in both Diatonic instances to customize [GMaj + Em as default here]. HotSwitches add interval variations and trailing delays, using Diatonic’s unique Pitch Mix routing.
Performance Switches:
* 1). Program Active
* 2). HS2 – Spread Delays #1, Pitch & Program Mixes centered.
* 3). HS3 – Spread Delays #2, Pitch & Program Mixes centered.
* 4). HS1 – change intervals for Transpose 1 & Transpose triggers (Pitch Mix x-fades).
* 5). [A] Bypass (M) – trigger Transpose 1
* 6). [B] Bypass (M) – trigger Transpose 2
The expression pedals interact with the active intervals. For both effects, EXP1 sweeps Feedback A & B (for use when HS2 or HS3 is ON). EXP2 (optional) sweeps the [P] HotKnob, for interactive pitch adjustments with the HotSwitches and momentary Bypass (saved at 72).
All three HotKnobs are pre-programmed for making fine adjustments to several of the effects. Customize the sound, using these variations:
* [P] HotKnob (+/-) – adjust Diatonic 1 & 2 Pitch A. [default = 72]
* [A] HotKnob (+/-) – adjust Diatonic 1 Pitch B [default = 65].
* [B] HotKnob (+/-) – adjust Diatonic 2 Pitch B [default = 40].
See the Program Notes for more information on the PERFORM switch mappings.
