DFAM n Stuff 8

After a lot of revisions, realizing that there are three EG’s, taking care of allowing the VCO’s to drone and still be controlled by the velocity sequence, and incorporating the velocity into all of the EG’s, I think I have a full featured DFAM. The sequencer still needs a look.

I have this project as ready to go but will make changes if needed.

Take note that there are a lot of options in this version that depart from the Moog hardware. I used DADSR(H)+ EG’s which means the user has to set the envelopes to behave like the DFAM. Pretty simple actually. Set the attack to low, use decay as desired, sustain at 0, release at 0.

I had some welcome feedback on the EG’s. If you want fast or slow envelopes, the adjustment is made in the attack. A short attack results in a fast EG and a long attack results in a slow EG. But there are other options if you want to play with the module’s provided controls. There is actually a 1x/10x switch in the DADSR(H)+’s lower left corner. This will produce a noticeable different effect than adjusting the attack of the EG’s. If you want, add a relevant module to make the attack settings short and long. This could be accomplished using. NYTHSI ConstAddMult module, an Impromptu Modular TACT-1 module, and a BogAudio Switch module. As you can see, these modules are in use all over the patch.

This is something I will have to revisit in the future to make a build tutorial/user manual.

Have fun and let me know if you find anything that is not quite the way it should be!

lol. Yes a user manual would be great. But I would rather you spend the time developing. Life is too short. Keep creating
