Insert Mode Program. I honestly can’t decide between Parallel Routing (default), or the more intense Series Routing. Program Mix 50%. Programmed for stereo use. Mod Delay alongside Flanger.

I hope I’m doing justice to this vintage rack effect, but I’m going to ‘borrow’ several concepts from its design anyway. Mainly, four of its delay ranges, for switchable effects:

* Base Program – Flanger Mode: 2/4 mS delays + Negative Flange
* HS1 – Double / Chorus Mode: 32/64 mS delays + Jet Flange.
* HS2 – Short Echo Mode: 128/256 mS delays + Positive Flange.
* HS3 – Long Echo Mode – 1024/2048 mS delays + Thru-0 Flange.

Flanging is present – but subdued – in the doubling & echo modes. And, of course, you’re going to get ‘pitch’ shifting from the delays while switching between modes.

It’s the nature of the beast with Mod Delay, but a cool (temporary) effect in its own right. Don’t care for that? Swap it out for a crossfading delay algorithm.

EXP1 controls Delay Mix, Mod Depth and Mod Speed in Mod Delay, with Depth, Speed and Manual Mod in Flanger. EXP2 (optional) sweeps Depth Mod and Speed Mod in Flanger (saved at Heel).

All three HotKnobs are pre-programmed for making fine adjustments to several of the effects. Customize the sound, using these variations:

* [P] HotKnob (+/-) – adjusts Mod Delay Shape with Flanger Shape and Mod Source. [default=85]
* [A] HotKnob (+/-) – changes Mod Delay Filter [default. = 40]
* [B] HotKnob (+/-) changes Dly Offset in Flanger [default = 91].

Other options include the latching REPEAT in Mod Delay, mirroring the INFINITE REPEAT switch in the Effectron. The resulting drones & regeneration can be processed and “played” alongside the flanging. Both REPEAT & BRAKE/SPEED will remain latched when used in combination with any of the 4 modes listed above.
