Data Disruptor is based on the concept of a PLL harmonizer, specifically the Earthquaker Devices Data Curruptor. Data Disruptor, however, does not do PLL. It just uses pitch shifting.

At the base of it, it is a fuzz effect.

In its current version, it will do vibrato but not glide.
