Here’s a simple port of the Continuum CZ Dirt Bass by Christophe Duquesne. It adds Y+Z volume amplitude scaling and fills out the Macro Controllers by adding a “force” option that basically just doubles the Kinetic bank that is used as a filter in this preset and adds control over attack for input of OSC 5 into the Kinetic bank (formula O).
Aftertouch/Y: Changes Kinetic Bank Frequency – acts as a filter cutoff.
Macro Controllers:
i (resFreq) – Controls amplitude of the SG modulation envelope for OSC2 and OSC4. Brings in a higher modulation frequency component as you raise it.
ii (resoShape) – Controls spectral balance (waveform) complexity of OSC3 and OSC4. Also brings in high spectral/harmonic components as you raise it.
iii (dirt) – adds a noise component that greatly increases impact by increasing static friction of the Kinetic banks and bringing up the multiplier/ring modulation applied to the three OSCs.
iv (delay) – Brings in the Extended Echo
v (force) – Brings in a doubling of the Kinetic bank with slightly different parameters
vi (attack) – Allows for control of the SG based attack ramp used in SGr5 input into the Kinetic banks.
Ped1 – Sustain
Ped2 – Dirt (iii)
