Cyclic Shards

A granular delay, with two sequencers that do the movement of things. Just having some fun with more ideas, messing with the capabilities of the sequencers, they are doing most of the heavy lifting in this patch. There are step buttons to advance each of the sequencers individually on the control page, as well as latching buttons to randomly trigger them. They determine the speed of the triangle LFOs that are “scanning” through the grain size, granular position, texture, and density. The sequencers also run a couple of other LFOs, pitching the grains up in harmonic intervals. The left footswitch is a “Frozen Feedback” switch, that freezes the granular module and ramps the feedback, a classic move of mine. There’s a low pass filter connected to the granular audio output to keep the pitch shifting in check, I did my best to make it so it doesn’t get piercing and will cut more high end as the pitch shifting goes up.
