This instructional preset is detailed in the upcoming 2.x CVC manual revision and placed here for those reading the manual who want to download and experiment with CVC programming. This preset makes no sound and is for Haken Audio CVC use only but can be driven by Continuum, ContinuuMini or Expressive E Osmose.
The preset does the following:
• Set Polyphony = 1 (Outputs on CVC channel 1 – Ports 1, 2, 3 & 4)
While Module is Gated:
• For W, output a bipolar continuous Shape Generator 1 (SG1) based LFO Sine Wave from -10V to +10V at a frequency controlled by Macro Controller i and width controlled by Macro Controller iii. Change the frequency in continuous (small) increments.
• For X, output a bipolar continuous Shape Generator 1 (SG1) based LFO Square Wave from -10V to +10V at a frequency controlled by Macro Controller i and width controlled by Macro Controller iii. Change the frequency in continuous (small) increments.
• For Y, output a unipolar continuous Shape Generator 2 (SG2) based Ramp Up (sawtooth-like) Wave from 0V to +10V at a frequency controlled by Macro Controller ii and width controlled by Macro Controller iv. Change the frequency in increment of .5 seconds.
• For Z, output a unipolar continuous Shape Generator 2 (SG2) based Ramp Down (sawtooth-like) Wave from 0V to +10V at a frequency controlled by Macro Controller ii and width controlled by Macro Controller iv. Change the frequency in increment of .5 seconds.
Note: Here there are four LFOs, two bipolar and two unipolar, working in pairs to optimize use of only 4 Macro Controllers. Each pair has the same frequency and width controls as we want to control this with the 4 Macro Controller knobs available on the module’s front panel.
