A simple patch to produce generative audio cut-ups (ala Burroughs and Gysin) from recorded speech.
This patch was created for the “Lost Futures and Persistent Pasts” presentation at the 23rd International Oral History Conference (IOHA) in Kraków, Poland. ### Usage: Adjust the env module’s “THRESH” knob to change sensitivity to pauses in speech (when cuts are performed) and adjust the parameters of WALK2 to change how the sample is traversed. Effects and oscilloscope are optional.
