In this video, I walk through my own version of a small techno rack in VCV Rack, inspired by Omri Cohen’s original patch. I stripped down the setup, replaced half the modules, and rebuilt it with tools I’m more familiar with and used to working with.

Key changes include:
DocB drum modules for more intuitive percussion
Erica Synths VCO and FM-OP for sound shaping
Drum Sequencer used like a piano roll
Bogaudio Mixer 8 with mute and solo functionality
Compressors to tighten up the mix

Still using Omri’s core ideas:
RandLooper as a voltage source
Electric Ensemble and Ensemble Oscillator by 4ms
EG VCA by Surge XT and Venom’s Stereo Mixer
This patch is great for live techno performance or minimalist generative setups.
