Instructional Preset. This simple, but very useful preset takes two oscillators (one DSF and one integrated DSF) and has controls to cross-modulate them (feed the output of one as the phase modulation input to the other) and then uses the output of that to input to a third oscillator set up as a waveshaper (no Frequency column defined). The output you hear is the wave shaped output after a Hight Pass Filter to remove any very low noise. You can create all kinds of timbres with and without noise by just experimenting with the controls from brassy sounds to more woody sounds, etc. You can get a nice harmonica out of this for example with the right settings in the right range.

Instructions:
No Y is used so this will be fine on Osmose but just don’t use Aftertouch as it will do nothing. Experiment changing parameters to get sounds you like. Note: Will make no sound if Waveshaping controllers are both at minimum.

Macro Controllers:
i = OSC1Timbre (Controls timbre through full range of Spectral Balance for OSC1).

ii = OSC2Timbre (Controls timbre through full range of Spectral Balance for OSC2).

iii = OSC1XMod (Controls amount of OSC1 fed into OSC2’s phase modulation input)

iv= OSC2XMod (Controls amount of OSC2 fed into OSC1’s phase modulation input)

v = WaveSh1 (Controls Amount of modulated OSC1 output is sent as wave shaping input into the Wave shaping OSC). WaveSh1 or WaveSh2 must be set > minimum to make a sound.

vi = WaveSh2 (Controls Amount of modulated OSC2 output is sent as wave shaping input into the Wave shaping OSC). WaveSh1 or WaveSh2 must be set > minimum to make a sound.

Note: Changing any of the first 4 Macro Controllers will modify overall timbre in different ways.
