Inspired by Mooncat84’s The Vowel Machine and Rainger FX’s the Drone Rainger.

Chant uses pitch detection and the envelope of your in signal to create a two voice drone. Chant maintains the note for a bar. The left stompswitch sets the tap tempo for it.

You don’t have to specify a scale, but doing so really helps. The pitchdetector can pick chromatic notes for the drone otherwise, even if you are playing in scale and it is simply looking for the lowest note played in the bar.

The note offset modifies the note of the second voice.

Each voice has some white noise mixed in with it, you can use the audio mixer on the page for the voice to control this.

There is some reverb applied to the voices. I wanted to use hall, but the CPU budget wouldn’t stretch to it.
